Rig was extracted from working code, then repaired in Figma. These rules come from that order of work.
Code first, then the system
Creators Pro was built first in code. The layouts were captured from the browser into Figma as flat frames, and the foundations, atoms and complex components were rebuilt on top of them. Rig documents what the product already does, so a spec here should match the screen.
Dark-first, with a light twin
Every component is specified in light and dark. The product ships dark; the light theme exists for documents, exports and accessibility preferences. Use the theme switch at the top to compare.
Tokens over values
Components consume semantic tokens, which resolve to ramps. Where a value is not a token yet, the documentation says so.
Accessible by default
Touch targets are at least 44px, focus is visible on every control, and status never relies on colour alone.
